Wade Zahares, a graduate from The Maryland Institute, College of Art, has worked in pastels for the past 22 years. His work has appeared in newspapers and magazines, galleries and corporations throughout the United States. He has done extensive mural work including the CambridgeSide Galleria and the Boston Duck Tours. One of Mr. Zahares first solo shows in the Boston area was at the Zullo Gallery in 1989. His work is in the Permanent Collection at the DeCordova Museum of Art. Wade Zahares is the illustrator of several children’s book’s including Window Music a New York Times Book Review and Time Magazine, Best Illustrated Books of The Year, 1998. He currently lives and works on his small farm in southern Maine where he is working on a new children’s book. His work will appear at artcetera 2002 and at the Zullo Gallery in November 2002 - January 2003.
